This little thing is so handy, I printed it out and taped it into my Book of Shadows
My crude astrological wheel of the year. I wasn’t goinng for pretty. Its just a map for my BOS but I thought I would show you guys
I need to invest in a book of shadows. And by book, I mean BOOK. Not college-ruled notebook paper in a binder.
SPELL TO PROTECT B.O.S. FROM BEING READ BY THOSE WHO SHOULD NOT:
On the inside cover, write this chant (Wiccans, best to write in Theban; Heathens, best to write in Elder Futhark; Druids or Neocelts, best to write in Ogham. It all boils down to preference)
“Guardians of the sea, Guardians of the sky, Protect this secret (or sacred) book From all prying eyes Earth, Wind, Fire, and Sea As I will it, so shall it be.”
PROTECT YOUR BOOK OF SHADOWS FROM BEING READ BY THOSE YOU DON’T WANT TO READ IT:
On the inside cover, write this in Theban (or Anglo-Saxon, depending on which branch of paganism you identify with):
GUARDIANS OF THE SEA GUARDIANS OF THE SKY PROTECT THIS SACRED BOOK FROM ALL PRYING EYES BY THE POWER OF THREE SO MOTE IT BE!

so im getting into witchcraft, but i really dont know how to start :\ advice?
Start with a Book of Shadows. If you don’t know what that is, it’s a personal book that you put your spells, ideas, personal thoughts, or anything else mystic/pagan-minded you want, and you don’t show anyone.
Buy/grow herbs, if you want to be into the herbal craft. Most if not all spells you find will involve herbs. You will definitely need candles.
I highly advise you get an account on WitchVox.com . It’s a handy-dandy website for you to connect with other pagans in your area, locate shops and clergy in your area, and find articles to inform you.
Meditate until you think your brain muscles are hurting. Reflect in on yourself. Draw out your magickal ability, converse with the gods to find one whose footsteps you wish to follow. Find out what suits you.
And research. Traditionally, you cannot be officially a Wiccan, or a Witch, until you have studied for a year and a day (366 days). Whether or not you wish to uphold that tradition is your choice, but I know that several covens/circles will require that you have studied a year and a day. Or, you can remain solitary.
Read anything and everything you can lay your eyes on. Experiment. Teach yourself, and let the wisdom of your closest deity (whichever you feel the strongest bond with) flow through you. They will help you.
Good luck, and Goddess bless.
