What did you guys do for the full moon on Thursday?
SIMPLE GOOD LUCK SPELL - REQUESTED BY ANONYMOUS
Best if done during a full moon, or a new moon if you’re looking to draw something new into your life. Call the Quarters if you like but it is not necessary. Write your wish on a bay leaf in corresponding color ink (see color correspondences here).
Chant “Moon, beautiful moon
Brighter than any star
Goddess of the moon, Diana (or moon goddess of choice) if it may be
I pray you bring fortune unto me”
Kiss the leaf three times and wrap it securely in white or green cloth. At this time, if you have called the Quarters you may close the circle. Keep the leaf with you in your pocket (left pocket if your power hand is your left, right pocket if your power hand is your right) until the next full or new moon (depending on which moon you performed the ritual upon). The night of that moon, burn the leaf and inhale the smoke, letting it become one with you. Don’t worry, you won’t get high.
Your wish will come true with in the next moon. You just have to be patient.

November 2011 Moon Phases
WISH SPELL TO DIANA/ARTEMIS
You may use this only three times in between the new moons.
While gazing at the moon, repeat the following:
“Moon, moon, beautiful moon,
brighter than any star,
Goddess of light and love,
Diana if it might be,
pray bring fortune unto me”.
A sign that the spell worked would be coins doubling in the purse or pocket, or seeing a hare before dawn. Note: The spell won’t work if done with evil intent.
New moon phase module
The quality has diminished since the last time I used it (unfortunately) but I have added a handy dandy lil’ Moon Phase Module to the homepage of TheCauldronBorn.tumblr.com.
I have used it so many times before (It used to look great), it tells you exactly what phase the moon is currently, what percent of full it is, complete with a clock and simulated image. I love it. The text nowadays is a little pixelated but I’m sure we’ll survive.
Also, if you hadn’t already seen them, I have also added some widgets to the homepage. A simulated tarot reading (which is scarily accurate), along with rune/herb of the day.
